I am a U of O grad 1987. The idea behind this website is like this:
"Mad Duck" because that's how I approach Oregon sports.
"2020" because I can see clearly into the future. And it looks bright for the Ducks, like Lightning Yellow and . . . . . . OK. I got the idea from a cheap bottle of booze.
As for my nickname, it was a handle benoited* upon me when I was a student at Oregon.
Also I learned the hard way when I was arguing with some NRA Neo-Con Tea Partiers in the Palouse to never have your real name floating out there.
*"Benoited" . . . That's a word isn't it?

Robert Earl Keen's from Texas, not Ohio! Shame on you. One of my favorite all time songs but I've never seen the video. Thanks.
